xúc phạm, làm nhục, xúc phạm

To be insensitive, insolent, or rude to (somebody); to affront or demean (someone).

⚠ Học sinh hay dùng 'làm nhục' cho mọi trường hợp, nhưng 'làm nhục' mang nghĩa nặng nề hơn (làm cho nhục nhã, ê chề). Với các tình huống giao tiếp thông thường, 'xúc phạm' là từ chính xác hơn.

ℹ Từ 'xúc phạm' thường được dùng trong các ngữ cảnh tranh luận hoặc giao tiếp xã hội khi một bên cảm thấy bị coi thường hoặc bị xúc phạm bởi lời nói của bên kia.
