The end, finish, close or last part of something.

⚠ Học sinh hay nhầm lẫn giữa 'sự kết thúc' (dùng cho quá trình) và 'phần kết' (dùng cho tác phẩm/văn bản). Không nên dùng 'phần kết' cho các sự kiện trừu tượng như 'sự kết thúc của chiến tranh'.

ℹ Trong tiếng Việt, 'phần kết' thường dùng cho các tác phẩm nghệ thuật, sách, hoặc bài viết, trong khi 'sự kết thúc' mang tính khái quát cao hơn cho các sự kiện hoặc thời gian.

⚠ Từ 'kết luận' cũng được dùng cho nghĩa 'một quyết định đạt được sau khi suy nghĩ kỹ'. Sự khác biệt nằm ở chỗ trong logic, 'kết luận' là kết quả tất yếu của các tiền đề, còn trong suy nghĩ thông thường, đó là kết quả của quá trình đánh giá chủ quan.

ℹ Trong tiếng Việt, từ 'kết luận' được dùng cho cả nghĩa là phần cuối của một bài văn và nghĩa là mệnh đề logic này. Cần dựa vào ngữ cảnh để phân biệt.
